Like it or not, Christmas is creeping up on us at an alarming rate. So with that in mind, you might want to check out the following video, which I filmed with Angela Hartnett, for The Guardian. Angela designed an amazing alternative Christmas dinner for me. To start she made a deliciousĀ pumpkin soup with seared scallops, followed by melt in the mouth roast rib eye of beef served with potatoes boulangere and cavalo nero and to finish a gorgeous pavlova with poached fruits. I chose two alternative wines which could be served with each course. I certainly had great fun selecting the wines and trying them with Angela’s wonderful food, I hope you enjoy them too.
